President SBY Released His Third Album

After releasing two previous albums, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, open the year of 2010 by presenting a new album for the people of Indonesia. The album contains nine songs, which was launched in Taman Ismail Marzuki, Jakarta, Sunday (24 / 1) afternoon, it was titled "Ku Yakin Sampai di Sana" ("Sure I get there") who happened to be one of the title song on that album.

As the two previous albums, this time the state also took the popular singers of Indonesia to bring the songs, among other Vidi Aldiano, Joy Tobing, Koeswoyo Junior, Joey Ayala, Elfas Singer, Tantowi Yahya, Dewi Yull and Iwan Abdie.

Meanwhile, a number of top musicians including Fariz RM, Pay, Irwan Simanjuntak, Alvin Lubis, Elfa Seciora, and Yan Rusli. While the video clips for some songs handled by several creators like Rizal Mantovani, Ivan Banditto, Anggi RB Umbara and Beyonce.

In the introduction to the album, the President who did not attend the launching said that the atmosphere of the song he thought was communicating what happens to him to the public.

"In the midst of the struggle and the struggle of the people trust me to run for president, occasionally in my spare time to express my feelings into a work of art. Through art, I hope to communicate my moods to the public, the children of Indonesia, "he said.

According to Yudhoyono, an album that contains songs from various genres of music and the lyrics were a common thread that reflects a belief, commitment and desire to accomplish something ideal.

"The songs were composed of a conviction, nothing can change the fate of a nation, in addition to the children's own nation and the confidence of achieving a `noble goal," he said.

Yudhoyono hopes that confidence can be engraved in the soul of all the nation's children to continue to foster hope with all my optimism and determination, to meet and achieve brighter future.

Meanwhile, singer Tantowi Yahya who is also a Member of Parliament said that he listened to the song "Majulah Negeriku" ("Go My Country") as much as three times before asked to sing the song.

"One day I was invited by Mr. SBY (Yudhoyono - ed) to Cikeas. Mr. SBY said that he had created a country rhythmic song for me to sing," said Tantowi.

According to the top presenter, the song has good lyrics. The song such as an old songs but has a contemporary context, he added.

Unlike the Tantowi, Koeswoyo Junior invited to Cipanas Palace in 2008 before requested the song "Budi Temanku" ("Budi my friend") and "Liburan Sekolah" ("School Holiday").

David, vocalist Koeswoyo Junior, said that although the two songs have simple lyrics but have philosophical meaning. "Budi Temanku" reminds one that the success can also be achieved in village whereas "Liburan Sekolah" to remind people to not forget education.

"Both songs were originally beat and tempo a bit slow, like the songs of old. But we better change the beat with the bit fast tempo," said David.

Fariz RM who previously been involved in drafting the order of songs on the album both Yudhoyono, “Evolusi” (2009) said that he specifically include Saluang elements from West Sumatra, Borneo and the distinctive guitar and drums kolintang of Minahasa and Guinea to represent Indonesian sense in "Jiwaku Terang di Malam Itu" (“The light in my soul That Night").

The song "Jiwaku Terang di Malam Itu" sang by the best male singers MTV Awards 2009, Vidi Aldiano, created by Yudhoyono while in Lima, Peru on November 24, 2008. Earlier, Yudhoyono had launched “Rinduku Padamu” in October 2007 and “Evolusi” in January 2009.

The nine contents of "Ku Yakin Sampai Di Sana" album are: "Jiwaku Terang di Malam itu", "Adakah", "Budi Temanku", "Kuyakin Sampai Di Sana", "Untukmu Anak Manis". "Liburan Sekolah", "Longing My Love", "Save Our Planet" dan "Majulah Negeriku".
