Alibaba Protest Yahoo about Google’s Dispute with China

Yahoo finally stuck with the battle between China and Google. Alibaba, the business partners in China, the largest online seller, criticized Yahoo for Google's support. Alibaba Group said, Yahoo has been careless because they remark and support Google. Yahoo has a 40 percent stake in Alibaba. Meanwhile, a Google’s spokesman denies has decided to close the site Google.cn.

"Alibaba Group has been communicating with Yahoo. That statement in favor of Yahoo last week Google is a careless thing," the statement Alibaba Group, on Saturday, 16, Jan, 2010. Earlier, Yahoo said agreement and support Google's position that the attack on the company network is disturbing.

In addition, violence against the privacy of Internet users is also something that should be avoided. It happened one day after Google announced the possibility that they will come out of China's market after a cyber attack on a massive network that eventually led to the theft of intellectual property rights. Google says is not going to censor the contents of China-language search engine, Google.cn, and will attempt to negotiate to create a search engine that is not censored or out of the China market.

Google representative, on Saturday, to refute reports that claimed China Google has decided to exit. They also denied its employees have been asked to leave the company. It is also said; do not know whether the staff members who came from China, whose access code has been rejected, as revealed some bloggers. He just said, Google is scanning the system after the attack.

Tenuous relationships

Alibaba has Taobao, China's largest online retailer and e-commerce site Alibaba.com largest, has a poor relationship with Yahoo since Yahoo CEO Jerry Yang stepped down.

Yahoo invested U.S. $ 1 billion in Alibaba Group in 2005 and got a 40 percent stake in Alibaba. Then, Yahoo sold some of its shares late last year and made Alibaba executives who want to celebrate the anniversary of the 10 surprise. It is believed that Alibaba wants Yahoo to sell its shares to a larger group, but Yahoo says Alibaba is the importance of investment in China.

One source said that Yahoo knows they will become targets of cyber attacks against corporate China United States before Google warned. However, Yahoo chose to remain silent until Google, its biggest opponent, revealing it to the public. (AFP)
